WHAT THEY'RE SAYING ABOUT JUDGE PEGGY HORA (RET.)

HONORABLE EUGENE M. HYMAN

JUDGE (RET.)
Judge Peggy F. Hora (Ret) has always been committed to helping heal the world. As a judge, author, mentor, innovator, teacher, and presenter on the national and international stage in the discipline areas of critical thinking, judging, substance abuse/mental health courts and restorative justice, she has been a pioneer. Her innovative thinking has been sought not only by judges but by government officials throughout the world as well. “No” and “impossible” are words not known to her. She rocks!!
Over the past decade while New Zealand was investigating and then implementing the establishment of adult Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment courts, there was an international authority who stood like a set of landing lights on our pathway - Judge Peggy Hora. We are deeply indebted to Judge Hora for having shared her considerable knowledge with us, and in such a commanding way.

A GLOBAL LEADER IN THE SOLUTION-FOCUSED COURTS MOVEMENT

"We have felt so privileged and honoured to have had this truly critical support."
"It was one of the best TA [Technical Assistance] visits our site has ever received.”
"Judge Hora’s teaching reflects her status as one of the founders of the drug court movement in this country."
“Speaking for all TASC staff at drug court, I can say that it was informative and helpful. [One participant] told me as we were leaving that it was the best and most informative training he has ever received as a team member of [the drug court]. I can't disagree. In the coming weeks we will be working to incorporate what we learned.”

LEGAL INNOVATOR; AUTHOR; INTERNATIONAL SPEAKER

It has been a great ride I must say and enriched considerably by meeting people like you who have continually inspired me. I thought I would just pass on my gratitude for all your help and guidance over the years. I have often said it was one of the highlights of my life to eventually meet you after reading your contributions for so long.
